Accommodations

This great layout is conducive to privacy with separate owner and crew quarters or crew and chartered guest accommodations.

Starting from the bow, a V-shaped anchor, chain and line storage area opens to two single berths/bunks to starboard and port.

Separated with privacy curtains, the amid-ship cabin contains upper and lower single port berths/bunks. Accommodations for these two crew/guest areas include a separate head with sink, common area built-in storage drawers, hanging locker with hatch/skylights above for enjoying the sea air at anchor.

The main salon is spacious with a large bright skylight, L-shaped settee and 4-seat dinette, which doubles as a chart table with drawer or drop-down double berth. Abundant storage throughout for provisions while cruising. You will appreciate the propane pot belly heater on those cold, damp nights at sea or in port. The area is warm with vintage leaded stain-glass storage cubbies, original hardware, fixtures, and wooden floors.

Aft of the dinette, to starboard, just forward of the companionway, is an in-line galley featuring above sink pantry for storage of dinnerware, silverware and dry/canned food, 3-burner stainless steel gimbled stovetop with oven, double stainless-steel sink, freezer and front-loading refrigerator. Built-in drawers are located below the companionway with a hanging locker for foul weather gear to port.

The aft Master Cabin contains single starboard and aft berths/bunks with a centerline 6-drawer bureau and mirror. Master has a skylight, hanging locker, berth/bunk settees, and access to the engine room. There is a separate Master head with toilet, sink and linen locker. The head is accessible from both the Master cabin and main salon.

The engine room is located to the aft of the master with an alternate deck hatch accessible from the cockpit area. A custom “Dauntless Shipyard” bronze manhole cover in the cockpit accesses additional storage for fuel and water.
