The Cal Cruising 2-46s, designed by Wm Lapworth offer excellent sailing performance. The interior layout features two staterooms, two heads, two showers, large deckhouse salon with up galley, a more comfortable cockpit than most 50-footers, a large engine room, 260 gallons of fuel and 100 gallons of water. This particular one is equipped with an 85 hp Perkins diesel, new windows and all new wiring. This is a very clean boat owned by an experienced yachtsman.

The master stateroom is located aft and features a double berth, with 6 drawers under, to port while to starboard there is a settee (with 4 drawers under) which converts to an upper and lower berth; 6 vertical drawers and a large standing closet. Six opening port lights provide great ventilation. Forward of the double berth to port is an enclosed ensuite head with manual toilet, sink and shower. Lockers both behind and below the sink provide ample storage.
Just forward of the aft stateroom is a walkthrough hallway on the starboard side of the engine compartment. The electrical panels are on the port side of the walkthrough along with a Xantrex Inverter/Charger monitor. Adjacent to the panels is the selector switch for the generator and shore power. Outboard and aft of the main engine is a 4.0KW Onan generator. Outboard of the main engine and generator to port is a work bench with a 6-gallon Seaward water heater under.
The main salon has nine large replaced windows. To the starboard is the galley with engine driven/AC Glacier Bay cold plate refrigerator/freezer, Hillerange 2-burner propane stove/oven and deep dual stainless steel sinks. The galley features an abundance of storage for galley essentials. To the port is the raised L-shaped dining settee/double berth with ample storage beneath and above the settee. The navigation station is located just forward of the salon table.
Continuing forward is the guest stateroom V-berth with a very large storage area below. To starboard is an enclosed head with manual toilet, sink and vanity. There are large storage lockers behind, above and below the sink. To port is a full standing closet and plenty of storage. At the bow, a roomy chain locker provides plenty of space for sails and gear.
