The Catalina 38, originally designed by Sparkman Stephens for Yankee Boat Company as a one off racing design is now one of the best known “racer/cruiser” style boats thanks to Catalina Yachts. Aft of the V berth to port is the head and opposite to starboard is cabinet, drawer and shelf storage. Midships salon with a convertible dinette port and storage under and behind and shelf storage overhead. Opposite to starboard is a long settee with storage below and behind and shelf storage overhead. Again aft, the galley is to port with drawer and cabinet storage as well as a large counter top for food preparation. Opposite to starboard is the navigation station and electrical panel. The quarter berth is aft of the navigation station.
