Accommodations

Stepping down into the cabin the first thing you’ll notice is that it feels very inviting and comfortable. There is a place for everything, and plenty of storage for extra clothing and gear.

There are comfortable quarter berths on both port and starboard, with warm woodwork and individual brass reading lights.

Just forward of the companionway on the port side is the galley area featuring a deep stainless steel sink with pumps for sea water and pressurized fresh water, and a brand new Wallace diesel fired 2-burner stove top that also has a built-in cabin heating function.

There is a large stand-up chart table across from the galley on starboard with storage and a built-in icebox underneath. The navigation area is well equipped with a depth sounder, brand-new Garmin VHF radio with AIS, an Iridium sat phone, and convenient access to the electrical panel and battery monitor. There is a brand-new Garmin 1200 multi-function plotter/radar unit nearby on a swing mount so it can be viewed from either the chart table or the cockpit.

Farther forward the main cabin has long settees on port and starboard which can double as addtional sea-berths, complete with lee cloths stored under the cushions. Beautiful teak cabinetry behind the seating provides additional storage and bookshelves. There are opening bronze ports, a traditional skylight hatch and gimballed brass oil lamps to complete the ambiance and provide light and ventilation.

The forepeak area contains more teak cabinetry for clothing, sails and gear storage, access to the chain locker and a cleverly concealed head compartment separated from the main cabin by a privacy curtain.
