38' Ericson 381 '83 "Allure"

ALLURE has been well maintained with many upgrades and is frequently sailed in San Diego and the local islands with her new 2020 Quantum mainsail and furling genoa. This Bruce King design has a sturdy hull reinforced by an engineered triaxial grid for exceptional stiffness and strength. The fin keel and balanced spade rudder provide optimum balance speed and stability whether cruising or racing. The roomy interior offers teak bulkheads, doors and trim, a double quarter berth aft to port with chart table, galley opposite, the salon has bench seating and u-shaped dinette table, a double v-berth is forward and head has a separate shower with lockers to starboard.

Accommodations

ALLURE has a large cockpit with cushions for comfortable seating and has a tall dodger with clear isinglass that allows for good visibility from the helm. Sailing and navigation instruments on the pedestal and on the bulkhead and a convenient cup holder also on the pedestal. Teak washboards lead to the companionway steps and behind the steps is engine access. To starboard of the steps is the galley and to port a large quarterberth and the navigation station.  Forward to port is the u-shaped dinette and to starboard is bench seat. Both can convert to berths. Continuing forward to port is the head with stall shower and to starboard are lockers.  The large v-berth has privacy door.
