SHOOFLY is a must see boat! Her condition is impeccable after just completing a 2019 refit which included a full repower, new interior and repainting of her house and deck. Her hull is vacuum bagged with a foam core and she has a custom Schumacher rudder. Her fine performance and striking blue hull turn heads everywhere.

The interior of SHOOFLY is bright white, trimmed in warm Kauri. Starting forward, there is a "crash bulkhead" and aft of the bulkhead is a large V-berth with varnished Kauri trim and pine ceiling strips on port and starboard. There is a storage locker port and small seat to starboard and another locker on port. Aft of the main bulkhead are port and starboard settees with storage behind the backrests and a fold down table. Aft of the settee on port is the galley with a double stainless steel sink, top access refrigeration and separate freezer and a two-burner propane stove with oven. To starboard is a navigation station with seat and access to the AC and DC electrical panels. Farther aft to starboard is an enclosed head compartment with head sink and shower. Aft of the galley is a large master stateroom with full sized bunk, hanging locker and storage. There is a pass thru door from the aft stateroom to the head and an access door to the garage on starboard from aft part of the head.

SHOOFLY’s hull has a Divinycell foam core and a full length 1/4" Corten steel box frame along the centerline and above the keel. There are a pair of full length 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" fiberglass bilge stringers. The mast and engine both land to the steel frame. Bulkheads are fiberglass with a 1" (25mm) Divinycell core. The hull laminate is E-glass and isophthalic polyester resin. The hull and the keel were faired and templated in 2010. All bottom paint was stripped, and a new epoxy barrier coat was added and then repainted in 2019. The elliptical spade rudder is an upgraded Carl Schumacher design that was rebuilt by Integrated Composites. They used epoxy and foam for a new blade.It has a composite fiber lower rudder bearing.
