39' C & C Landfall '86 "Gaia J"
GAIA J is a unique and capable blue water cruiser with exceptional sailing characteristics and can sail close hauled at 30 degrees. There are numerous areas of insulation (providing warmth and preventing condensation) as she has sailed in all climates. This boat cruised extensively in Mexico, the Pacific Northwest and Canada, including two circumnavigations of Vancouver Island and a trip from Vancouver to Hawaii. For safety and comfort, a hard dodger and canvas enclosure have been added to the center cockpit. After cruising down the coast and spending a season in Mexico, the boat was brought back to San Diego by the second owners who sold her to the current owner in January of 2002 who has since lived aboard and sailed her exclusively in Southern California waters.
