44' Norseman 447 CC '88 "Kailani"

Rarely does a boat come along of this quality.

Yachtfinders is proud to be representing KAILANI, a very special yacht that is looking for a special new owner.

One of the last built of the legendary Norseman 447's, KAILANI is number 69 out of 74 built, and is perhaps the most thoroughly cared for and updated of the entire fleet.

From its glossy, never-painted gel coat hull to the robust, meticulously-installed low-hour D2-75 engine, KAILAN has always attracted dockside attention for its gorgeous looks, and provokes constant disbelief that she was launched in 1988.

This is a boat that has been called an amazing "barn find" by a fellow Norseman owner who also collects Porsches.

Without a doubt KAILANI ranks among the best examples of this highly regarded blue water cruiser that Norseman designer Robert Perry has referred to as his personal favorite.

Over the last 10 years, KAILANI has undergone significant annual investments totaling over $300k, including new rigging, new electronics, the highly regarded Volvo D2-75 diesel engine, Spectra Watermaker, and much more.

Every expenditure attests to the owners' constant goal of improving KAILANI's performance, reliability, and safety. For those who aspire to long distance passage making in comfort and confidence, and have become discouraged by the cost of a Hylas or Halberg-Rassy, you will definitely want to view KAILANI.

This is a special boat looking for a special family.
