POST TIME sports several upgrades that make her an unparalleled value: an in-boom furler, new electronics, AIS, new autopilot, new charging system, new hatches and opening ports and a freshly refinished teak and holly sole. She shows very well.
The hull of the Catalina 42 is an easily driven hull, with a fine entry, a walk thru transom to a wide boarding platform. The rudder is large and balanced, ensuring control in all conditions. POST TIME is set up to be very easily single-handed, with a Schaefer in-boom furling system and electric cabin top winch. She has a 3-blade Max Prop feathering prop, and a full suite of new electronics and autopilot.
The Catalina 42 is hard to match for her performance, comfort and style. This makes the perfect short-handed sailor or family cruiser.

POST TIME features the 3 stateroom, 2 head layout with a varnished teak interior and newly refinished teak and holly cabin sole. Beginning forward is the master head with separate shower. As you move aft through a privacy door, you step into the master suite with a double Pullman berth. There are ample storage drawers under the berth and hanging locker and storage across from the berth. There is a large hatch over the berth for ventilation. Continuing aft and through another privacy door, is the main salon and galley area. The galley is to starboard and is a straight-line galley. To port is an L-shaped settee, leafed table and two-person bench seat. Seating can easily accommodate 5-6 people. Aft of the port salon area is the navigation station which is immediately followed by a second cabin. On starboard following the galley, is a full size head w/shower and just beyond that is a third stateroom. Both aft staterooms offer double berths and hanging lockers. Her interior fabric is a blue and is in very good condition. She has sun shades on her newly replaced opening ports.
