Accommodations

The Morgan 45 interior is a skillful blending of traditional craftsmanship and materials, with contemporary space planning and interior design principles. The result is both beautiful and livable. All areas have good natural lighting and ventilation. All the cabin ports are open-able and are fitted with screens. The main cabin has large skylights overhead and the hull has fixed ports for added visibility. The galley is extraordinary. Good light and ventilation create a pleasant work environment for the cook's domain. All the details that make the difference are included: a microwave oven, both top and front refrigerator access, Corian countertops, and well-planned storage top the list of features. Most important, the U-shaped galley is functional and secure underway. At anchor the cooks are a part of the main cabin conversation yet not in the traffic flow. The master cabin aft, is very comfortable and well ventilated. A dressing table and vanity with sink complement the accommodation. Features include a queen island berth with new custom mattress, electric head, separate shower & tub, great ventilation, hatches & ports and hanging lockers. The large double, forward cabin features a hanging locker. The  second head is accessible from the forward cabin and the salon. The salon sofa & settee also convert to accommodate. The main cabin is elegantly detailed and finished with hand rubbed satin finished teak bulkheads and cabinetry and a high gloss teak and holly cabin sole. The recessed lighting system is LED. A complete electronic entertainment center is built into every Morgan 45.
