2018 Grady-White Seafarer 228

The Grady-White Seafarer 228 has a full walkaround deck with a wide-open fishing cockpit, and a very practical cuddy cabin for overnighters. There is a well laid-out helm area with hardtop and full pilothouse enclosure in mint condition. The helm features hydraulic steering, Simrad autopilot and a newer Simrad multi-function display with charts, radar, AIS, and high-definition sonar imaging. There is an additional Garmin plotter/fishfinder in the overhead console.

The aft deck area has numerous built-in storage compartments for tackle and gear, insulated fish boxes with overboard drains and a bait tank integrated into the transom. When not fishing, there are removable seats at the transom and plenty of room to relax for cruising with friends and family.

The cleverly designed cuddy cabin packs a lot of amenities into a compact space. There is a good-sized vee-berth cushion set for overnight trips, an overhead hatch, lighting, and room for storage. Under the cushions there is additional storage space, a brand-new portable head, and even a small sink with pressure water.
