Access to the chain locker all the way forward followed by a large V-berth with custom mattress and large cedar lined hanging lockers both to port and starboard. Additional storage in two slide out drawers under V-berth. Next aft to port is the enclosed head with separate shower stall and vanity with Corian counter top. Head is accessible from both the forward cabin and the salon. To starboard of the head are two large, cedar lined cabinets with five shelves.

One step up and one enters the salon which features a settee/berth with lee cloth to starboard with ample storage below, outboard and above. To port there is an L-shaped settee/berth, again with a lee cloth and ample storage below, outboard and above. The dinette table folds down from the forward bulkhead which houses a 20” TV.

The very functional U-shaped galley with Corian counter tops is located to port of the companionway while to starboard is the forward-facing navigation station and the entry way to the aft cabin which features a large queen-size berth with custom mattress, a cedar-lined hanging locker and drawer beneath the berth. The entire interior shows quality and class with custom upholstery, locking teak and holly flooring and cherry cabinetry.

She is kept light, airy and comfortable with (4) glass fixed coach roof ports (the two tear-dropped ones replaced in 2018), (7) opening hatches and (3) opening aluminum-framed ports.

The Saga 409 has the largest interior on a vessel of this size and it is accentuated by the 6'*" headroom while at the same time it is easy and safe to move around under way due to the numerous heavy duty hand-holds throughout.
